KAIROS is an exciting 9 lesson, interactive course that
looks at our world from "God's perspective". The KAIROS
'journey' explores the Purpose and Plan of God from Genesis to the
End of the Age! KAIROS will inspire, motivate and mobilize you and
your local church to explore the challenging, yet achievable, final
frontiers of Christian world mission and to identify your part and
place in the growth and expansion of God's kingdom worldwide.
KAIROS can assist you in understanding some of the questions
facing God's people today. Such as: "How can we respond to
living in the expanding multi-ethnic, multi-cultural towns and cities
of today?" "The unreached and least reached have come
to our 'doorstep' in increasing numbers. Could this be a part of
God's strategy?" "How can we partner and work with the
increasing numbers of missionaries coming to our country from other
nations of the world?" "How can churches, mission agencies
and other organizations work together effectively?" "What
are 'senders', 'mobilizers', 'welcomers', 'intercessors', or 'goers'?
KAIROS will help equip you with tools to take back to your church
and impact you with God's heartbeat for the lost.
KAIROS can be done in a number of ways. You can run KAIROS
as a 5 day course, over 4 Saturdays, over 3 weekends, for 9 weeks,
or over a combination of evenings and full days. The KAIROS material
can be used for basic fieldwork, mentoring and adapted as part of
the immediate preparation for short-term mission teams. The KAIROS
course concludes with a focus on teamwork and integration of what
a person has learned during the course. Once you have completed
KAIROS you may want to become a course facilitator yourself! KAIROS
facilitators come from many different backgrounds and professions.
